Introducing Alcyon, the latest innovation in track lighting from Lightolier.
Alcyon combines clean architectural design, unprecedented performance and the flexibility of Lytespan® track to create the ultimate offering of specification grade track luminaires. Alcyon luminaires feature a visually wireless design, a thin blade-like stem that virtually disappears in profile creating a floating head effect and a minimum of 365° of horizontal rotation.
Designed for retail, commercial and architectural applications, Alcyon utilizes MR16, T4 and PAR halogen sources.
The Alcyon low voltage family features seven unique products including cylinders, rings, wall washers and decorative glass units. All have a horizontally mounted electronic transformer for a minimal profile and feature a lamp-forward design that enables easy lamp access during relamping.
Alcyon low voltage units also feature a front cartridge that is an integral accessory holder. The cartridge is hinged and captive and comes standard with a stainless steel ring that securely holds up to two accessories.
The Alcyon series also includes companion line voltage accent fixtures for Par20, Par30 and Par38 lamps in two styles: an enclosed stepped spot and an open ring. The line voltage family also features a rectangular wall washer that uses a T4 lamp in a horizontal orientation.
As with the low voltage units, these products feature lamp-forward design for easy relamping and include an integral accessory cartridge. The T4 line voltage wall washer has a unique side re-lamping feature that allows lamp replacement without removal of the safety lens. There is also an optional visor available that snaps onto the front of the wall washer and provides superior glare control.
