Uniframe features a U-shaped design, a first in the industry, which reduces the required mounting points to only two and significantly increases stability . Lytecaster's exclusive Grid-Lock™ mounting system enables tool-free installation in commercial grid ceilings and installs in a fraction of the time required by conventional frame-in kits, saving time and money for contractors and end users. In accordance with Lightolier's exacting design and manufacturing standards, all frames are rolled for ease of movement and to eliminate sharp edges. In addition to an extensive selection of new optics, Uniframe is compatible with almost every existing Lytecaster trim, providing multiple options for every application and budget .
The Uniframe line offers more than 60 dedicated horizontal and vertical optics with specification-grade cut-off and efficiencies, available to fit 6-3/4", 5" and 3-3/4" ceiling apertures (3-3/4" is the smallest aperture compact fluorescent presently available). Each trim is performance optimized for a specific lamp but can accommodate multiple lamp wattages as needed, allowing for easy light level adjustments in the field. Every package comes with an efficient, universal 120/277 volt ballast. Uniframe also offers several remodeling options for existing ceilings and provides dimming and emergency ballast options as a standard.
