Lightolier Wins First Place in ACE Awards
FALL RIVER, MA., May 25, 2005 – Lightolier, Inc. is proud to announce that it has, for the third year in a row, been awarded top manufacturer in the 2004 ACE Awards (Architects Choice for Excellence), as voted by readers of Architectural Lighting and Architecture magazines.

Each year Architectural Lighting and Architecture Magazine poll their readership on manufactures. The readers are asked to rank manufactures on topics including durability, customer service, value and design.

Lightolier was chosen first out of a field of 239 manufacturers for the Architectural Lighting award, which was up from 209 companies in 2003. For the Architectural portion of the ACE award we were chosen first out of 106 electrical companies, up from 89 companies in 2003.

“2004 marks Lightolier’s centennial anniversary and as the current generation of Lightolier people we are truly honored to receive this award three years in a row”, said Russ Hall, Vice President of Channel Marketing. “As we move into the next century we will continue to uphold our commitment to do it first or do it better by supplying architects and designers with innovative, high performance interior lighting fixtures.”

Articles about the awards, featuring Lightolier, appeared in the November/ December 2004 issue of Architectural Lighting and the December 2004 issue of Architecture. Lightolier will also be mentioned on both magazines’ web sites for one year as the winner of the awards.
