FALL RIVER, Mass., May 5, 2003— Lightolier has completed its Perimeter Trough System (PTS) line of products with the introduction of three products: PTS5, PTS6 and PTS8. With these additions, Lightolier now provides a complete PTS product line for T5 and T8 fluorescent lamps. The PTS line offers multiple optical offerings, focusing on performance, aesthetics, and ease of installation, providing specifiers with the versatility and capability required to light perimeter walls on all commercial and service industry projects.

PTS5 and PTS8 are small aperture, high performance T5 and T8 fluorescent perimeter lighting systems. They are available in 1 light and 2 light cross sections, as well as a 2 light, staggered lamp luminaire. The lamps are 100 percent shielded to minimize unwanted room-side brightness. The reflector system is a precision roll-formed parabolic that is 94 percent reflective. The pure semi-specular aluminum optical systems provides highly uniform illuminated walls while ensuring minimal luminance reflection and iridescence into undesirable areas of the space.

PTS6 provides an efficient optical system for price sensitive installations in T8 linear fluorescent lamping, and can also be used in restrooms or hallways where room-side lighting is the desired effect.

Lightolier’s existing PTS7 is a recessed linear trough that provides continuous light along a wall. It offers a larger aperture for improved efficiency, as well as an aluminum parabolic louver in T5 and T8 Fluorescent products.

All of Lightolier’s perimeter trough product lines offer 1 and 2 light options, as well as 2 light staggered lamping. The perimeter systems offer standard 45 and 90 degree inside and outside corners, and 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 ft lengths with sliding sleeves in order to complete more complicated installations
