FALL RIVER, Mass., May 5, 2003— Lightolier has expanded its current metal halide track lighting offering with the addition of the PowerArc Modular Series.

Designed for retail, commercial and architectural applications, this family of products utilizes a variety of ceramic metal halide lamps to provide superior color rendering, high-energy efficiency and long lamp life with minimal color shift. Additionally, the PowerArc Series is uniquely modular in that it consists of universal ballast modules that will support PAR, ED and T type lamp configurations.

The PowerArc Series features wall washing and accent lighting luminaires that have a compact, highly styled design offering an appearance unlike any other metal halide track fixtures on the market. Additionally, the unique cord and plug system offers unsurpassed flexibility by allowing the mounting configurations to be tailored to the needs of the application.

The PowerArc accent lighting luminaires are available in both open and enclosed styles. The T4.5, T6 and ED17 versions feature integral reflectors that enable multiple light distributions to be effortlessly achieved. The reflectors can be quickly interchanged without the use of tools, making it easy to adapt the lighting as needed.

The wall washing luminaires are available in T4.5, T6 and ED17 versions utilizing a horizontal lamp configuration in a clean, distinctive style designed to compliment the accent luminaires. Additionally, the T4.5 and T6 versions have a unique side-relamping feature that allows for easy relamping without removal of the glass lens.

Ideal for use in a wide range of applications, these fixtures are available in 20, 39, 70 and 100-watt versions. Each can be ordered with electronic ballasts as well as cost-effective magnetic ballasts.
