FALL RIVER, Mass., May 5, 2003— Lightolier’s Fluorescent division has introduced Mini-Beam, a new recessed Direct/Indirect luminaire that promotes energy efficiency and cost savings, without sacrificing overall architectural style.

Mini-Beam is a 2'x4' Indirect/Direct luminaire with a 4" Perforated Mesh Baffle and a soft contoured styled interior. It takes advantage of the latest T5 lamp and ballast technology, and is available in a 28 or 54 watt T5. Mini-Beam is offered as either a 1 lamp or 2 lamp product. This architecturally styled luminaire has an impressive efficiency of 78 percent for the 1 lamp T5, 54 watt unit, and a efficiency of 72.7 percent on the 2 lamp T5, 54 watt unit.

Mini-Beam fits flush to the face of a slot grid T bar ceiling system, and the same fixture fits both the slot grid and the standard grid ceiling T bars. Continuous row mounting is available. Additionally, an optional DALI ballast accepts digital dimming commands from computers, scene controllers and automatic control devices.
