FALL RIVER, MASS. (May 22, 2002)— Lightolier's Fluorescent division has introduced Coffaire, a new recessed indirect perforated basket luminaire featuring air return.

Coffaire is available in 2x2 and 2x4 sizes with multiple lamp options ranging from linear T8 and T5 lamps to twin tube T5 lamps in the 2x2.

Coffaire incorporates a one-piece perforated lamp shield with a white acrylic overlay in a softly contoured body. The standard Coffaire fits both Grid and Slot Grid T ceiling systems. On a Slot Grid T ceiling, Coffaire fits flush to the face of the Slot Grid, a unique feature. Coffaire is the first fixture of this type that is UL Listed for Air Return. It also meets UL 1598 Large Scale Fall Out test requirements for air handling luminaires. Coffaire can also be row mounted in continuous rows. The housing is crafted of 20-gauge steel and four earthquake clips come standard with each unit for securing the fixture to the T-bar.
