(May 22, 2002)— Lightolier's Fluorescent division now offers the current linear EYE-Q indirect/direct or direct series with a new attractive linear prismatic lens in place of a louver. The new EYE-Q Lens is ideal for schools, offices and retail stores which require flexible yet economical task lighting.

EYE-Q Lens is available in 4-foot and 8-foot lengths with a direct/indirect light ratio of 45% downlight and 55% uplight when using the optional top lens. This luminaire offers an excellent 2.0 spacing to mounting ratio and is rated at 84% efficiency. Easily retrofitted, EYE-Q Lens can be pendant-mounted with stems or cables and can also be surface-mounted. The lens hinges from either side of the luminaire for easy lamp maintenance. EYE-Q Lens utilizes energy efficient T8 lamps and electronic ballasts and features a housing crafted of 20-gauge steel.
