FALL RIVER, MA. (May 29, 2001)—
Aleron is a new family of products now offered by Lightolier, that have
the unique ability to create patterns and add accent track lighting to the
underside of the luminaires. An elegantly designed luminaire with a high
performance optic was the directive from many lighting designers. Aleron
uses warm simplistic lines to create an attractive addition to any space.
By having the track pre-installed at the factory, the track is covered so
the elliptical form of the luminaire is uninterrupted. Each fixture can
be ordered with or without the tracking option and should only be ordered
as so if this option will be utilized. The non-track versions mimic the
seam of the two-extrusion design of the track versions by adding a grove
to the extrusion, so the track and non-track versions can be combined in
the same space, or even the same run without noticing any aesthetic differences.
This new lighting family comes in two varieties, Aleron1 and Aleron2.
The Aleron1 uses warm and simplistic lines to create an attractive addition
to any space. The system uses high performance T5 linear fluorescent
lamps and precise optics to direct the light where it is needed. Aleron2
maintains the same curved shape as Series 1 while adding another graceful
curve to the horizontal plane. Perforations, pierced slots or a glowing
acrylic lens as part of the body compliments the indirect component of
this luminaire. These attractive aspects give Aleron the performance
and appeal needed in today´s refined commercial applications.
The features of the Aleron satisfy the most challenging design. Aleron
is such a versatile luminaire that in addition to creating appealing ambient
light, the system has the option to add any of the Lightolier Lytespan
track fixtures for accent lighting. The single circuit track is an interracial
component of Aleron´s extruded aluminum housing. There are no additional
items to add and the fluorescent portion of the system can be 277v while
the track portion is 120v. The addition of another die-casting component
creates a clean transition between the Aleron housing and the Lytespan
track fixture.
The most recognized name in the lighting industry, Lightolier offers
a full line of lighting fixtures, including track, fluorescent, down lights,
decorative, fiber lighting and advanced dimming controls systems. Headquartered
