Requirements:
Employee/Labor Relations: Coach and counsel management in anticipating, avoiding and handling employee/labor relations issues; provide day-to-day client support for OPCOM/senior management; develop, improve and consistently administer HR policies and procedures
Compensation & Benefits: Create, refine and implement compensation/benefit policies, practices and programs necessary to attract, motivate and retain top-quality employee talent, while adhering to corporate guidelines and ensuring competitiveness within the relevant labor markets; develop reward/recognition programs as needed
Staffing: Manage recruiting, diversity and affirmative action/EEO; work with clients to assess needs and develop recruiting strategies; establish relationships with applicant sources; and ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant laws
Training & Development: Responsible for conducting training needs assessment and conducting, coordinating and facilitating systematic, targeted training to improve employee competencies and build a strategic talent pool; conduct succession planning and develops leaders/high-potential employees through the creation and implementation of individual development plans and career planning
Develops and executes tactical HR initiatives in the following areas:
• Performance management
• Organization development/change management
• Litigation avoidance/management
• Safety management
• Legal/ethical/policy compliance throughout multi-site, international company
Principle Duties/Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree in human resources or a related field with 10+ years of human resources leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Well developed verbal and written communication and influencing skills
Multi-site and multi-state manufacturing experience
Labor relations, negotiation and arbitration experience
Strong partnering skills including the ability to establish rapport with front-line employees as well as executives; able to act as a managerial coach, counselor, and advisor
Excellent planning, leadership, and project management skills
Knowledge of compensation programs, including salary and benefit program design

Desirable Qualification:
Advanced degree preferred
Knowledge of affirmative action programs design and administration
Organizational development/change management experience
